The Co-opAlston Wholefood Co-operative was started in May 1998. The mission of the shop is to provide good quality food and wholefoods to the people of Alston Moor and surrounding area. We also cater for a wide variety of tourists who come to Alston as holiday makers, cyclists, motor cyclists, train enthusiasts and more!!We are located in the middle of Alston, on Front Street. The shop's double-fronted windows give us lots of space for displaying our products and the shop itself is well stocked with local cheeses, pickles, jams, meats and much much more.  | Food of the FortnightWe are featuring a "food of the fortnight" in the shop and on our Blog.Every "food of the fortnight" will have samples for tasting in the shop and and a recipe on the blog to make the item in to something mouth wateringly delicious. ProductsOur products are of the finest quality and standards.We stock a HUGE range of food, from soup to nuts!! Included are cheeses, speciality meats, vegan cheese, milk, vegan products, macrobiotic products, gluten-free products, nuts, jams, pickles, mustards and much much more. We try to source all our products from local producers, from co-operatives and from quality wholesalers like Suma and Green City. And some of our products have even won awards!!  | Visit UsWe are open every day of the week from 9am to 5pm - Monday to Saturdayand 11am until 4pm on Sundays.
